Jim Weix Specialty:  Commercial Background:  Jim Weix, President and Broker, began his real estate career in Wisconsin as a Commercial Real Estate Broker. He specialized in investment real estate, both as a Broker Associate for an internationally affiliated commercial firm, and as an owner of residental and commercial rental real estate. Upon moving to Florida, he began working as a Broker Associate for one of the top residential real estate firms on the Treasure Coast. He quickly became disillusioned however with the old fashioned thinking of the major real estate firms. Although the State of Florida had moved progressively to make the real estate industry consumer friendly, particularly to Sellers, the major real estate firms seemed to reject these improvements. Jim recognized that today's Buyers and Sellers are better educated, and thanks to computers, better informed than at anytime in the history of the United States. Today's Buyers and Sellers needed to be given a choice of which services that they wanted from their real estate agent. With that philosophy, Jim formed The Real Estate Company-Treasure Coast, Inc., which immediately was more successful than even Jim had even dreamed of. Within 2 months, Jim had more business than he could handle, and began taking on agents. Jim's "consumer friendly" style of real estate enables him to match his services and fees with the needs of both the Buyer and Seller. This has enabled him to meet the needs of home builders, investors, Sellers, and Buyers.
